Beginner Upcycled Jean Quilt PDF

Your old jeans hold a lot of memories. This pattern helps you turn them into a quilt you will reach for again and again.

Denim Days walks you through making a blue jean quilt using two different sized pieces, so you can mix and match the denim you already have. You will also learn how to create reverse applique blocks, a technique that adds texture and a handmade touch to the finished quilt.

Instead of machine quilting, this quilt is tied. The pattern includes clear steps for tying it yourself, which makes this a welcoming project if you are newer to finishing a quilt.

This pattern is written with beginners in mind. The instructions are clear and the techniques are approachable, so you can feel confident even if this is one of your first quilts.

By the end, you will have a quilt that carries the story of well worn jeans and stays in your family for years to come.

What you will learn:

How to cut and piece denim using two block sizes
How to create reverse applique blocks
How to finish your quilt with a tied technique, step by step
